Jasmine Pearl White Tea Premium (Buddha Tears) – Only the most experienced tea smiths can create white BUDDHA TEARS. Two leaves and one bud are rolled by hand and scented with fresh blooming jasmine flowers to create this aromatic delicacy. On infusion, they gracefully blossom whilst sinking to the bottom of the cup, slowly creating a light gold liquor with a sweet cleansing flavour and beautiful aroma of fresh jasmine. It is a pure sensory indulgence.

I have tried many buddhas tears and really enjoy this gentle one which has zero bitterness.

This is my first time buying from XO teas. I usually buy white tea budda tears and they look and taste different to these. I suspect these were green tea budda tears and not white tea. I base that on how it tastes and looks. So its ok tea, just not what i thought I was buying.
