When will my order be dispatched?
We attempt to pack and dispatch all orders within 24hrs of receipt. Our courier usually arrives between 10 – 12pm daily Monday to Friday (excl. public holidays). Orders received after this time will be dispatched the next day. You should get an automated tracking email once your order is picked up. 

Minimum Spend
In order to checkout a minimum spend of $20 needs to be reached.

Backorder items ordered in conjunction with available items will result in the entire order being held back for dispatch until all items are available.

Do we deliver to parcel lockers or PO boxes?
We sure do! We deliver to any valid address Australia wide.

Are you’re teas certified organic?
XO Tea is certified organic by Southern Cross (Cert Number 24025), SXC is one of Australia’s leading organic bodies. Further to this all of our teas meet EU organic and//or USDA NOP organic certification. 

How much is shipping?
Standard shipping is free of charge Australia wide no matter the order size. Express shipping is charged at $7.95 per order.

What material is your packing made from?
At XO Tea we are always looking for ways to reduce our carbon footprint. Where possible we use biodegradable or compostable packaging.

Teabags – Our teabags are a bio-web material made from corn starch (PLA). These bags are certified composable and biodegradable. 
Satchels – Our online order satchels are made from PLA  (corn starch) and PBAT (a co-polymer that is 100% compostable). They certified compostable and biodegradable.
Shipping Cartons – Corrugated cardboard shipping cartons made from recycled paper
Retail Box Inner – In 2022 we are transitioning to a PLA compostable inner liner for our retail range 

Why do some products taste and look different from the last time I ordered?
With the current break down in global supply chain due to COVID-19 the consistency in organic herbal and tea products can vary from batch to batch.  Further to this as XO Tea products come from small gardens it’s a challenging task to maintain consistency. Regardless of this our teamaker attempts to maintain consistency of product quality by blending batches where required although we can’t guarantee flavour and appearance will always be the same from order to order. 

Non Pickups
Orders are delivered to local post offices in cases where the postie is unable to leave even when authority to leave has been granted. This occurs if he or she feels the location is unsafe to drop the parcel unattended. It is the customers responsibility to track their own orders and collect parcels from post offices in this case. In the event a parcel is not collected within a reasonable time frame is it returned to us automatically (the return shipping is charged to us). This forfiets the order by the customer and refunds will not be issued. 

Returns Policy
All unopened items may be returned within 7 days of receipt at the customers expense. If a return is requested due to incorrect items we organise a pickup of the incorrect products and resend the correct item free of charge. Returns of this nature must occur within 7 days or parcel receipt. Please carefully check your order before payment to ensure you have ordered the correct items. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate of get in touch before placing your order. 

10% Cart Discount
An automatic 10% discount is applied when cart totals exceed $100. This excludes already discounted items and only applied to full priced products.
