Japanese Hojicha Tea Certified Organic – Our organic hojicha hails from the Shizouka prefecture. Its a great example of traditional hojicha utilizing the tea stalks to deliver the optimum flavour. Its also known as roasted green tea. The materials are roasted at a high temperature resulting in a sweet mellow taste and fragrance. It is popularly used to make iced tea all over Japan.

I discovered this tea while I was in Japan and have been looking everywhere for it and finally found it at XO teas. Will be buying it here again as it is a lovely mild pale brown tea with beautiful flavour. Excellent fast service with XO as well.
